Terrence Romeo on his clutch, game-winning three: Tsamba
"Swerte. Tsamba," Romeo said on his booming three over Kevin Racal that gave the Batang Pier a 106-104 lead with 8.1 seconds to go in Sunday's knockout game.

Terrence Romeo only had one thing to say about his game-winning three to push Globalport past Alaska in a do-or-die match for the no. 8 seed.

Actually it was two things but the meaning is basically the same.

"Swerte. Tsamba," Romeo said on his booming three over Kevin Racal that gave the Batang Pier a 106-104 lead with 8.1 seconds to go in Sunday's knockout game.

"Ang thinking ko lang nun kailangan makapaglaro kami ng isang game pa. Di talaga pumapasok sa isip ko na matalo," he added.

Hitting the clutch three that allowed the Batang Pier to somehow sneak into the playoffs despite starting the Commissioner's Cup at 0-4, Romeo now has to prepare for no. 1 Brgy. Ginebra.

He and his team have one day to execute a game plan to take down the Gin Kings.

"Wala pa akong thoughts [on Ginebra], gusto ko lang pumunta bukas at mag-prepare," Romeo said, refusing to get way ahead of himself.

"Bahala na kung ano mangyari. Basta going to that game, kailangan prepared kami," he added.
