Jaworski feels the Gin Kings will have to do more on defense if they want to steal a series win against TNT in the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinals.
Even in retirement, Senator Sonny Jaworski continues to work his magic for the barangay.
With the Gin Kings facing elimination in the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinals, the Living Legend was at the Big Dome to watch his former team.
Ginebra ended up scoring a convincing 125-101 win to avoid as sweep at the hands of TNT to force a Game 4 and everyone on the team starting from head coach Tim Cone once again raved at the presence and support of the Big J.
"It's nice to have him there. Hopefully he could keep coming," Cone said.
"His presence is so—he casts a big shadow. He blocks the sun for us. He’s such a huge presence," the 19-time PBA champion coach added.
For Jaworski, he says the Gin Kings simply came more prepared for Game 3 compared to TNT.
And with Ginebra looking at another elimination game on Saturday for Game 4, the Living Legend feels that the team can do even more.
"Honestly, they can do more. They can do better, especially on defense," he said.
"I think they came prepared, although they got to work more on their defense to really come back," Jaworski added.
