I know mahirap kalimutan, pero kailangan namin gawin." --- Chito Victolero.
After dropping Game 2 after a missed Paul Lee game winner and losing Game 3 due to a made Marcio Lassiter game winner, it would be easy for Star to be frustrated as the Hotshots now trail their Commissioner's Cup semifinals series against San Miguel Beer, 1-2.
However, despite facing elimination, the Hotshots remain upbeat on their chances to turn this best-of-5 showdown around.
Star is moving on to the next game, just like any team would and should do after such a heartbreaking loss.
And in the case of the Hotshots, two heartbreaking losses.
"We cannot dwell on that. Kailangan lang namin mag-move forward, mag move on," head coach Chito Victolero said.
I know mahirap kalimutan, pero kailangan namin gawin," he added.
The fact that they lost two games by a combined two points sort of gives Star renewed hope.
After all, if a couple of breaks went their way, this would have easily been a sweep.
"We're still positive.
"Right now we're down by one game, so do-or-die na kami. Yung sense of urgenc kailangan namin maramdaman ngayon," he added.
