Can LA Tenorio and the rest of the Gin Kings force a Game 5 vs. TNT?
After finally looking like a top seed with a dominant win in Game 3, Brgy. Ginebra will look to once again display that enduring "Never Say Die" spirit as the Gin Kings once again face elimination.
Down 1-2 to no. 4 TNT KaTropa in their best-of-5 semifinal series in the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup, Ginebra heads to Game 4 Saturday still as the underdogs sort of despite landing a 24-point haymaker two days ago to avoid a sweep.
Punked by the Gin Kings at the Araneta Coliseum, the goal remains the same for TNT and that is to return to the PBA Finals for the first time in two years.
However, several issues haunt the Texter's march to the title as Jayson Castro has been ineffective against Ginebra's guard rotation all series long.
Import Joshua Smith, the one player most effective against the Gin Kings, left Game 3 early after allegedly suffer some foot problems. His status for Game 4 is uncertain.
