Before resuming pool play Tuesday [Wednesday morning, PHL time], Kobe Paras competed in the slam dunk contest of the 2017 FIBA 3x3 World Cup in Nantes, France.

Unfortunately for our 19-year-old superstar, he just missed out on advancing to the next round, falling to USA's Chris Staples and Jordan Sutherland, Poland's Rafal "Lipek" Lipinski, and Ukraine's Vadim "Miller" Poddubchenko in the qualifiers Monday [Tuesday, PHL time]

Still, Kobe was impressive with his two dunks in the competition, earning a total of 50 points for a windmill flush and the "Elbow "Dunk" tribute to Vince Carter.

Kobe, together with Kiefer Ravena, Jeron Teng, and JR Quinahan, will play Slovena and El Salvador next as the 3x3 World Cup continues.
