SMB is ready if and when TNT decides to change imports

TNT has two imports on standby in Mike Myers (left) and Michael Craig (right). Myers is the original replacement for Joshua Smith while Craig is the KaTropa's reinforcement for the Governors' Cup.
Three games into the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals against San Miguel, is TNT ready to replace Joshua Smith as its import?
Now down 1-2 in the best-of-7 series, TNT opting to replace the towering Smith with Mike Myers, or even Michael Craig for that matter, is starting to receive some serious consideration.
Regardless of who will reinforce the KaTropa for Game 4 and beyond, San Miguel appears to have no problem whatsoever as the Beermen are ready for TNT anyway.
"We will see. We don't know what will happen," San Miguel head coach Leo Austria said.
"Whatever happens, we have to face it dahil before the start of the series, alam natin na any time pwede sila magpalit eh," he added.
Beermen import Charles Rhodes says it would be "crazy" if TNT ultimately decides to push through with the change but he's not too worried about it.
It's not his problem to think about.
"It will be crazy if they do [change] because Joshua Smith is so dominant, one of the most dominant big men I ever played against," he said.
"That's up to them [TNT], I'm not over there. I'm over here in SMB," Rhodes said.
Still, with the uncertainty surrounding TNT's import for this series, the Beermen will stick to their own and control what they can control.
After all, San Miguel is only two wins away from a second straight title this season.
"Magpalit sila o hindi, our team is well-motivated eh, and what I mean is self-motivated sila," Austria said.
