After a terrible Game 3, Jayson Castro made sure to show up in Game 4 for TNT.

Despite coming off the bench, the Blur took over in the fourth quarter for the KaTropa, leading TNT to pulsating 102-97 victory over San Miguel Beer in the 2017 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals Wednesday at the Big Dome.

Castro poured 10 points in the final 12 minutes, giving TNT the separation it needed to tie this best-of-7 series at two games apiece.

Down by two, 84-86, with less than seven minutes to go, Castro went to work, scoring a mid-range jumper first to tie things up before proceeding to methodically break down the San Miguel defense.

The Blur would finally push TNT on top in the last five minutes, scoring a driving layup for a 90-89 lead. He scored three more baskets after that with the last one a difficult reverse over Charles Rhodes for a 101-93 KaTropa cushion with 1:41 to go.

"It was a hard-fought ball game. Both teams gave their best today," head coach Nash Racela said.

"It's nice that we ended up with the win, but all we did was just to tie the series and cut it down to a best-of-3," he added.

Castro finished with 17 points and four rebounds as TNT's top local. Import Joshua Smith actually led the KaTropa, going for a 20-point, 15-rebound double-double.

Rookie RR Pogoy finally broke his shooting slump to add 14 points while Ranidel De Ocampo and Troy Rosario finished with 13 points apiece.

Newly-crowned Best Import Charles Rhodes paced the Beermen with 22 points but was thrown out of the game late in the fourth after two technical fouls.

Alex Cabagnot scored 18 for San Miguel but Best Player of the Conference Chris Ross struggled for only eight points, five rebounds, and four turnovers.

The pivotal Game 5 is set on Friday also at the Big Dome.
