Kiefer clutch as Gilas survives Alaska to sweep tuneup games

It wasn't easy but Gilas Pilipinas made it a perfect 3-for-3 in its tuneu-ap games against PBA teams ahead of the 2017 Jones Cup.
On the strength of another comeback effort, Gilas swept its practice games after beating the Alaska Aces, 120-117, Saturday at the Gatorade Hoops Center in Mandaluyong.

Now up by three, 120-117, Gilas managed to hold on after Calvin Abueva missed a final attempt at the buzzer.
After beating NLEX, Blackwater, and now the Aces, Gilas will travel to Taiwan for the Jones Cup where the country is the defending champion following Mighty Sports' win last year.
Gilas Pilipinas will open its marathon nine-day schedule against Canada on July 15.
