Allen Durham dropped 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists as the Bolts rolled to a fourth straight win.
Allen Durham was an absolute Beast against an overmatched Kia team.
The reigning Governors' Cup Best import recorded a triple-double Sunday, anchoring the Meralco Bolts in their impressive 112-97 victory over the Picanto at the Big Dome.
Winning a fourth straight game, Meralco took over solo first place with a clean 4-0 mark, half a game above idle Star as the PBA heads to a mini-break for the 2017 FIBA-Asia Cup.
Durham recorded 25 points, 11 rebounds, 13 assists against Picanto, continuing his tear to power the Bolts' perfect start.
Chris Newsome and Baser Amer were also impressive for Meralco as the sophomore duo finished with 19 and 17 points respectively.
"It was a very good effort from my team today both offensively and defensively. We wanted to be very focused going into this game, we didn't want to stumble," head coach Norman Black said.
"We relaxed a little bit in the third and fourth quarter when we got a big lead but for the most part, we played very well," he added.
The Bolts led by as many as 24 points in the second half, 76-52, before Kia made a run in the fourth, cutting the lead in half with around six minutes to go.
However, Meralco would regroup to finish the game off strong and send the Picanto to a fifth straight defeat.
Import Markeith Cummings carried the fight for Kia, going for 20 points while Reden Celda added 17.
