World Peace will be touching down in Manila soon.

Metta World Peace, most recently with the LA Lakers, tweeted out that he's headed to Manila on August 11.

The 17-year NBA veteran has career averages of 13.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists. He put up 2.3 points in 25 games played with the Lakers last season.

Formerly known as Ron Artest, he's a one-time NBA champion, a one-time All-Star, and a one-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

World Peace has not officially retired from the NBA, but in his last game of the 2016-17 season at the Staples Center, he went off for a season-best 18 points in a win against the New Orleans Pelicans, hitting four triples, and adding four rebounds, an assist, and four steals in 25 minutes.
