ENCORE. After an MVP season, Ray Parks Jr. will be back to stand at the forefront of the Philippines' bid to take back the ABL crown.
Ray Parks Jr. will be back for more in the looming 2017-2018 Asean Basketball League.
Last season’s local Most Valuable Player is set to return to lead Alab Pilipinas’ try for a title, the team announced on Thursday.
Parks Jr. averaged 19 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists all while steering the Filipinos into a semifinal finish.
It is yet to be known who will be flaking the 24-year-old in the Philippines next campaign.
What is definite, however, is that Parks Jr. and company will now be mentored by longtime national team captain Jimmy Alapag.
The Alapag-guided and Parks Jr.-bannered Filipinos will once again see action in the ABL commencing later in the year. All of the action will still be on S+A, S+A HD, and sports.abs-cbn.com/livestream/abl.
