Aces still searching for answers as alarming skid continues

The Aces have lost 13 straight games. Thirteen.
If you're wondering what on Earth is happening to Alaska, well you're not alone.
The Aces themselves ask that question.
On Wednesday, Alaska's franchise-worst losing skid was extended to an unlucky 13 games following a double-overtime loss to Blackwater.
It was another close defeat for the Aces, another opportunity for them to ask "What on Earth is wrong?"
They wish they knew the answer.
"Another one-possession game we lost and just didn't get the job done again. I don't even know what to say anymore," guard Chris Banchero said.
Playing an inspired Elite team, Alaska played tough, forcing a first overtime before somehow managing to extend the game to a second extension.
However, as per usual during this alarming skid, the Aces can't close things out and the other team seems to get all the lucky breaks and make the needed clutch baskets.
"I wish I knew man," Banchero said when asked what Alaska needs to do to turn things around.
"I think we just need to play smarter basketball. I mean, we're playing hard but it's coming down to these one-possession games," he added.
Now 0-5 in the Governors' Cup and a matchup against defending champion Brgy. Ginebra coming up, the Aces are still looking for answers.
And they're running out of time this season.
"There's nothing to say, man. We ned to get the job done -- no excuse, no nothing. We got to take care of this," Banchero said.
