Blackwater has climbed to 3-3 in the Governors' Cup behind a franchise-best three-game winning streak. It appears the Elite only needed a little inspiration in their team to get it done.

Blackwater's "Mr. Inspiration" has led to two Elite players submitting breakout performances in the team's last two games.

First it was Mike Digregrio and then it was Roi Sumang.

On Wednesday, Henry Walker inspired another two Elite players into next-level outings and Blackwater rolled to its third straight win, taking a double-overtime decision against the Alaska Aces.

Bam Gamalinda and JP Erram were solid against the Aces as both forwards finished with double-doubles to back up Walker in a grinding game.

Gamalinda ended up with 15 points and 11 rebounds and he wasn't shy on making it known that Walker's effort has rubbed off on him, in a good way obviously.

"Since sa practice yung import, masyado siyang vocal sa amin. Gusto niya kami mag-step up," he said.

"Actually ginagawa ko lang yung role ko, bonus na lang yung ganun," Gamalinda added on his double-double.

Erram, who is trying to regain his top form following injury, likewise played solid, going for 13 points and 13 rebounds.

He says he's just trying to help Walker in every way he can.

"Kahit papaano, natulungan ko yung import namin para di naman sa kanya lahat ng offense at defense," he said.

"I'm going there na dun sa full recovery. Ang iniisip ko lang is makatulong sa team. Pangit naman kung bibigyan ka ng chance tapos hindi mo ima-maximize," Erram said.

While Walker has been "Mr. Inspiration" for Blackwater, the veteran import is still pretty effective in his on-court production.

Against the Aces, his former team, Walker played all 58 minutes, finishing with an impressive 35 points and 32 rebounds.
