"Sa totoo lang, pagod kasi wala pa akong maayos na tulog." --- RR Pogoy.
Barely a week since Gilas Pilipinas played its last game in the FIBA-Asia Cup at Lebanon, RR Pogoy is back with his mother team in the PBA.
And not just back just for the sake of being back, the rookie is playing his usual heavy minutes already.
With TNT coming off a bad loss, Pogoy started for the KaTropa against the Phoenix Fuel Masters on Friday in the Governors' Cup and played 33 and half minutes.
The rookie finished with 13 points and four rebounds, contributing to a local attack as the KaTropa managed to hold off the Fuel Masters for the win.
It's a sacrifice on the part of Pogoy, and Jayson Castro and Troy Rosario for that matter, but it's worth it for the rookie.
"Sa totoo lang, pagod kasi wala pa akong maayos na tulog," he said.
Lebanon is about five hours behind Manila time.
"Pero okay lang. May mga [konting] pahinga naman. As long as maglalaro kami, tutulungan namin yung TNT na bigyan ng magandang standings. Ganun naman kami as a player, as long as maglalaro," Pogoy added.
