After a rather lackluster start to its official Grand Slam bid, San Miguel quickly pulled the trigger and replaced import Wendell McKines.
In a development confirmed by the league on Thursday, the Beermen will parade Terik Bridgeman as their new reinforcement in the 2017 PBA Governors' Cup.
Bridgeman was measured by the PBA at its office Thursday afternoon.
With McKines, the Beermen went 3-2 in their first five games. However, San Miguel lost two of its last three and is only in the middle of the pack so far in the season-ending joust.
With Bridgeman in town, the Beermen will be putting McKines to their injured/reserve list and will go from there.
