Help is on the way for Blackwater

Dave Marcelo is expected to play his first game for Blackwater against... Ginebra.
Losing Art dela Cruz hurt for sure but based on the current situation, it appears that Blackwater may have won its trade with Barangay Ginebra.
In a deal completed on Thursday, the Elite sent dela Cruz and Raymund Aguilar to the Gin Kings for Chris Ellis and Dave Marcelo.
Aguilar is a seldom-used forward and dela Cruz is expected to be out for the rest of the season after an achilles injury.
With Blackwater trying to make the playoffs of the Governors' Cup, the arrival of both Marcelo and Ellis gives the Elite some much-needed boost.
Although the team didn't need it yet as Blackwater blasted Kia Friday in Antipolo. Ellis was still out and Marcelo watched the game from the sideline.
The two are expected to report next week though and should be ready for Blackwater's next game... against defending champion Ginebra.
"In our final three games we'll have some reinforcements in the names of Dave Marcelo and Chris Ellis, hopefully they could gel quickly with the rest of the guys," head coach Leo Isaac said.
"Hopefully we'll have them in our sessions starting Monday, four days before we play Ginebra so magandang umpisa for Ellis and Marcelo," he added.
