"Wala ka nang magagawa dun." --- Jayson Castro on the officiating during TNT's game vs. Globalport.
Based from their animated reactions alone, it can be safe to say that TNT KaTropa didn't particularly like the officiating Friday during their game against Globalport Batang Pier in the 2017 PBA Governors' Cup.
To cut to the chase, TNT had more than a couple of complains regarding fouls, the ones that were called and not called, and on turnovers.
In the end, TNT ended up losing to the Batang Pier, 112-119, creating a bigger logjam in the middle of the standings.
Despite their reactions during the game, the KaTropa didn't bother going into too much detail afterwards for obvious reasons.
"Wala ka nang magagawa dun, yung tawag nila siguro next time focus namin di mawala sa game," Jayson Castro said.
"Part of the game," head coach Nash Racela added. "We just have to play above the ano... mahirap. Ayaw ko na magsalita."
Despite some "questionable" calls, TNT points to its off night as the reason they lost to the Batang Pier.
The KaTropa missed a lot of free throws and close shots, allowing Globalport to go on transition many times over.
"Ganun talaga minsan may off night pero siguro yun nga, dami naming mistakes especially transition defense. Once na makuha nila rebound tinatakbuhan na kami," Castro said.
"Because of those mga missed na point-blank, parang naka-counter nila eh, so marami sila atake off of that. Parang nagiging four-point swing," Racela added.
