Rejuvenated Aces out to continue rise vs. no. 2 Meralco
Winners of three straight after opening the season-ending joust with six consecutive defeats, the Aces are looking to make it four in a row and make a play on the final playoff spots left at stake.

Alaska's mission to salvage its season gets its biggest roadblock yet as the surging Aces take on the Meralco Bolts in the 2017 PBA Governors' Cup.

Winners of three straight after opening the season-ending joust with six consecutive defeats, the Aces are looking to make it four in a row and make a play on the final playoff spots left at stake.

Alaska is currently 10th and is one game back from a quarterfinals slot. Including the matchup against the Bolts, the Aces only have two games left to play.

Meanwhile, Meralco also has something big at stake as the Bolts are fighting for a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals.

At 6-2, a win by Meralco here will enable the Bolts to tie defending champion Ginebra for first place. Opening tip will be at 4:15 p.m. live from the Big Dome.

In the second game at 7:00 p.m., Star (4-3) takes on Globalport (3-5).
