The PBA says that the fine is due to Racela "issuing statements detrimental to the league." Coach Nash was also fiend for giving disrespectful gestures towards referees and for the techincal foul he received for entering the playing court.

Speaking of entering the playing court, Hotshots coach Chito Victolero was given a P1,000 for doing the same thing.

Terrence Romeo as also heavily fined by the PBA as the Globalport star was issued a P20,000 penalty for his actions during the Batang Pier's loss to Blackwater also last Sunday.

Romeo was ejected during the second quarter of that matchup after he threw the ball to Blackwater import Henry Walker. He called for a flagrant foul penalty 2 for that infraction.

Other players receiving fines are Sean Anthony (P15,000 for wearing the wrong set of playing short), Calvin Abueva (P3,400 for technical foul for using profane language), Arwind Santos (P2,600 for technical foul due to second motion), and Alaska head coach Alex Compton (P2,000 for technical foul after continous complaining).
