Chooks-Pilipinas looking for bounce back win vs. Vampires
Now at 1-1 in Group A after a seven-point loss to Palestine, Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas will take on the Mono Vampires from Thailand as the Asian club championships continue in Chenzhou, China Sunday. (FIBA)

Chooks-to-Go will have no time to sulk following its first loss in the 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup as Team Pilipinas once again has barely 24 hours before playing its next outing.

Now at 1-1 in Group A after a seven-point loss to Palestine, Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas will take on the Mono Vampires from Thailand as the Asian club championships continue in Chenzhou, China Sunday.

Chooks-Pilipinas could have zoomed to Group A lead but the team's setback to Sarayyet Ramallah offset an opening-day win over BC Astana.

Already undermanned with the absence of Rod Ebondo, Chooks-Pilipinas will now have to take a look at Isaiah Austin after the former Baylor star hurt his leg in the middle of the Palestine game.

However, he did return to play the second half.

Kiefer Ravena remains as the team's leading scorer with the Phenom averaging 23 points per outing.

Chooks-to-Go will take on the Mono Vampires at 2:30 p.m. (PHL time).
