There was a scary, scary sight Saturday during the 2017 Governors' Cup matchup featuring defending champion Ginebra and TNT.

Near the end of the first half, rookie Kevin Ferrer had to exit the playing court after he suffered a bad fall during a KaTropa possession.

While trying to defend Mo Tautuaa and RR Pogoy, Ferrer landed face first on the floor and his back was put in a compromising position.

He laid on the court for a few minutes before he got up on his own to return to the Ginebra bench.

However, he was brought to the hospital at halftime for precautionary measures.

The Gin Kings ended up losing the game to the KaTropa, 92-121, but fortunately, the Gilas cadets seems fine.

Hopefully, results of his medical exams reveal he's actually fine.
