If you're a fan of Philippine basketball and you appreciate sneakers, this should be a big deal.
Chinese sporting giant Peak, through its Philippine Facebook page, has teased a new shoe for Globalport star Terrence Romeo.
And it doesn't take a genius to read between the lines and assume that the new shoe is the Bro's first signature.
If that's the case, Romeo should become the first homegrown player to have his own signature shoe with a major international brand.
Peak has signature shoes for NBA champions Tony Parker and Matthew Dellavedova. Former NBA Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard also has his own shoe with the brand.
Romeo signed with Peak late in 2016 and has been rocking the Rising Star, a budget model that retails just above P3,000, throughout the current PBA season.
However, in the ongoing 2017 Governors' Cup, Romeo has opted to go back to his old Nike Kobe models with the Swoosh logo being blocked.

It appears that during that time, a signature shoe has been in the works.
Peak's Facebook post offers nothing regarding price, tech specs, or anything else except the fact that the new shoe, with a dominant red upper, has Romeo's personal logo at the tongue.
Are you excited for the Bro's supposedly first signature shoe? Will you cop? Is this actually a big deal?
Let's see once the shoes are officially unveiled.
