Chooks-to-Go is going for first place.

Wrapping up pool play in the 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup, Team Pilipinas has a chance to take over no. 1 in Group A as they take on Iran's Petrochimi Tuesday in Chenzhou, China.

Chooks-Pilipinas is currently tied for first place with Petrochimi and BC Astana with identical 2-1 record and a victory by head coach Chot Reyes' crew should give them the top spot heading into the next round.

Team Pilipinas beat BC Astana on opening day so if both clubs end up in a tie, Chooks-to-Go still has the upper hand.

With a crucial matchup looming against Iran, Chooks-Pilipinas will still rely on leading scorer Kiefer Ravena and import Isaiah Austin who has been impressive so far.

Carl Bryan Cruz and Jeron Teng are also starting to make their presence felt for Team Pilipinas and both should also play a key role under coach Chot's system.

Chooks-to-Go and Petrochimi will tip off at 9:45 p.m. (PHL time).
