Fajardo leads BPC race for Governors' Cup
The 6'11" San Miguel center averaged 37.900 statistical points after norming 18.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, and two blocks per outing.

Surprise! June Mar Fajardo is the top local of the 2017 Governors' Cup at the end of the elimnation round.

Actually, it's a little surprising since the Kraken missed one game and struggled for a bit after dealing with injury. However, Fajardo had an MVP finishing kick that has him on track for a second BPC award this season.

Meaning, he's also on track for a fourth straight Most Valuable Player award.

The 6'11" San Miguel center averaged 37.900 statistical points after norming 18.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, and two blocks per outing.

In his last three games he scored a combined 91 points (41, 24, and 26) and grabbed a total of 42 rebounds (17, 17, and 8).

Second in the BPC race is reigning Rookie of the Year Chris Newsome of no. 1 seed Meralco.

Newsome has an average of 33.273 SPs built around conference averages of 14.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.09 steals per game.

Greg Slaughter (33.091 SPs), Arwind Santos (32.273 SPs), and Jayson Castro (32.200 SPs) complete the top 5.
