Walker after shocking upset on Meralco: We just poked the bear

"We just poked the bear, and if you're from the country like I am, you gotta be ready what happens when the bear turns around." --- Henry Walker on no. 1 seed Meralco.
As impressive as Blackwater's win was against Meralco to start the 2017 Governors' Cup playoffs, all the Elite did was erase the Bolts' twice-to-beat edge.
That's the beauty of being the no. 1 seed, Meralco has another chance. Blackwater has to do what they did Tuesday all over again.
And the Elite barely got the job done the first time around.
"It was a tough game. We were fortunate to make enough plays and keep it close so we could strike in the end," Elite import Henry Walker said after Blackwater's stunning 92-91 win over Meralco.
"But I warned the guys, they're [Bolts] a championship caliber team. Hopefully, everybody gets rest tonight and we go back to the drawing board and come back ready to match their intensity," he said.
Walker, who scored 19 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter, says the worry is mainly from Meralco head coach Norman Black.
The Bolts are strong as it is, they're no. 1 after all, but Walker is certain that Black will make sure his team will not come out flat in their do-or-die game on Thursday.
"I know for sure, coach Black, I have the utmost respect for him, I know he's going to have his team ready to go. We better be ready or we're gonna get whooped off the court," he said.
"We just poked the bear, and if you're from the country like I am, you gotta be ready what happens when the bear turns around," Walker added.
