Well, Chooks-to-Go's group play performance is uneven at best.
Iran's Petrochimi smashed Team Pilipinas in the 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup Tuesday, posting a dominant 87-66 win at the Chenzhou city arena in Chenzhou, China.
Breaking the game open in the second quarter, Petrochimi topped Group A with a 3-1 record while Chooks-to-Go finished with a 2-2 mark.
Still, Team Pilipinas is moving on to the next round despite a flat performance this time around. They will face Andray Blatche's China Kashgar.
After a low-scoring opening period, Chooks-Pilipinas allowed Petrochimi to score 27 points in the second period and that was basically all she wrote.
Iran kept the Philippines at bay in the second half, dropping a final 12-0 hammer in the fourth to ice the game.
Isaiah Austin led the way for Chooks-to-Go, posting 20 points and 12 rebounds. Kiefer Ravena also had 20 for the Philippines.
