"No pressure. We're still in the same position that we were in today. We gotta win one game. I think we fine." --- Glen Rice Jr.
As far as Glen Rice Jr. is concerned, nothing has changed in TNT's playoff campaign.
The KaTropa still need to win only one game to advance to the semifinals. The diffrence though is if TNT loses again, the team's season is over.
Don't tell that to Rice Jr.
"No pressure. We're still in the same position that we were in today," he said Wednesday after no. 2 TNT droppe a 102-106 decision to no. 7 Rain or Shine, forcing a sudden death on Friday.
"We gotta win one game. I think we fine. Coaches have to adjust a little bit but I think we're fine," he added.
Rice Jr. had an okay all-around outing against the Elasto Painters, finishing with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. The locals did their part two as Kelly Williams and Jayson Castro each broke the 20-point barrier.
However, the second-generation star only shot 28.5 percent from the field, missing 20 attempts.
Despite that, Rice Jr. chooses to take the positive. TNT did almost steal the victory despite falling behind by 20 in the fourth quarter.
"It's a good effort for us in the end game but thats not how we win games. We need to play hard," he said.
"The good thing about this is we showed that we can beat them if we play like that for the whole game. We gotta play hard the whole game," Rice added.
