Quiet confidence for Norwood and ROS as Painters force do-or-die against TNT

Hold on with all those "upset" talks.
Rain or Shine might as well be the strongest no. 7 seed this season.
Record-wise, the Elasto Painters are in fact, the strongest no. 7 seed this season.
That's why it's hardly a surprise Rain or Shine managed to force a sudden death against no. 2 TNT in the 2017 Governors' Cup quarterfinals, the gap is just not that wide between these two teams.
So hold on with all those "upset" talks.
"They're the bigger upset [Blackwater on Meralco]. That's 8 to 1. I mean it's basketball at the end of the day," forward Gabe Norwood said after his team beat TNT, 106-102, Wednesday.
Norwood was the top local for ROS in the win, firing 15 points on top of nine rebounds and six assists.
"We did beat them [KaTropa] in the regular season. I guess there might be a sense of confidence in that, at the same time, every game's different. But we've done nothing but to extend it to another day," he added.
In Rain or Shine and TNT's earlier meeting in the Governors' Cup, the Elasto Painters dominated with a 105-73 victory.
Despite being 2-0 against the flasgship MVP franchise in the season-ending conference, Norwood says it would be unwise for the Elasto Painters to be that confident.
"It’s gonna be a battle. There’s a lot of champions from that squad—from the coaches to the coaching staff to the players," he said.
"It’s just gonna be both sides doing what they can to get to the semis," Norwood added.
