Austin finally meets Blatche as Chooks-to-Go battles China

Well, the time has come. It's Andray Blatche vs. Isaiah Austin.
The matchup featuring the current naturalized player for Gilas Pilipinas and the guy many are looking at as a possible replacement is finally a reality as defending champion China Kashgar takes on Chooks-to-Go in the quarterfinals of the 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup Thursday in Chenzhou.
Finishin third in Group A behing BC Astana and Petrochimi, Chooks-Pilipinas shoot for a big upset of China who finally has Blatche suiting up.
The former Brooklyn Net and Gilas center missed Kashgar's first three games before getting a warmup in their final outing in Group B.
Aside from a semifinal slot, this playoff game is also the perfect opportunity to see how Blatche stacks up against Isaiah Austin, the 7'1" former Baylor Star that Team Pilipinas tapped to serve as reinforcement in the Asian club championships.
At 23, Austin is also being heavily considered to take Andray's place as the naturalized center for the Philippine national team.
Now we see how both towers compare in a game with high stakes.
