Chooks-to-Go finally regained its bearings.
After back-to-back defeats that left them in the classification round of the FIBA-Asia Champions Cup, Team Pilipinas started the consolation round with a bang by dominating Shabab Al Ahli-Dubai, 92-57, Friday at the City Arena in Chenzhou, China.
Chooks-Pilipinas submitted a masterful defensive performance, limiting Dubai to less than 20 points in all four quarters.
The offense was also effective as six players scored in double figures and the team collectively shot 52 percent from the field.

The La Salle tandem of Almond Vosotros and LA Revilla scored 14 and 12 points respectively while import Isaiah Austin scattered 10 markers, eight rebounds, and five assists.
Qais Omar Alshabebi led Dubai with 28 points.
Chooks-to-Go will have a rematch against Mono Vampire for 5th place Saturday.
