Austin's monster game hands 5th place to Chooks-Pilipinas

Isaiah Austin saved his best performance for last.
The towering former Baylor star submitted a monster game for Chooks-to-Go, allowing Team Pilipinas to take 5th place in the 2017 FIBA Asia Champions Cup after beating Mono Vampire, 89-79, Saturday at the City Arena in Chenzhou, China.
Austin went for 37 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, and six blocks, anchoring Chooks' big second-half effort to take the win.
After a sluggish start, Team Pilipinas doubled up on Mono Vampire in thie third before cruising to victory in the fourth.
Chooks-to-Go also made it two in a row against Thailand after previously taking a 115-102 win in group play.
Mike Singletary led the way for Mono Vampire, firing 30 points and 12 boards.
