TNT head coach Nash Racela was in a heated exchange of words with Ginebra's Al Chua at halftime of Game 3 of the Governors' Cup semifinals.
Before things almost reached a boiling point in the second half, Game 3 of the Governors' Cup semifinals between defending champion Ginebra and no. 2 seed TNT was already tense in the second quarter.
The biggest incident was the one involving KaTropa head coach Nash Racela and Ginebra governor Alfrancis Chua as the two started to trade heated words on the court following a technical foul.
Both did not stop there as they continued to bark at each other at the hallway of the Araneta Coliseum during halftime.
Eventually, both were separated as Commissioner Chito Narvasa, Ginebra assistant coach and Nash's older brother Olsen, together with venue securities, stepped in to cool the situation.
The Gin Kings managed to win Game 3, 106-103, for a 2-1 series lead and Racela gave his take on the matter afterwards.
"Gusto nyo malaman yung totoo? Baka ma-fine na naman ako pag nagsalita pa ako," Racela told a handful of reporters.
"You all know me, I won't start something. You all know me too well. And you all know the other guys too well. That's all I can say," he added.
The media missed Chua as he was quickly gone after the Ginebra win.
Game 4 of this series is set for Sunday.
