"Lazy" Bolts need to get back to work to avoid 0-2 hole

"We're just kind of lazy. We didn't play our game well." --- Allen Durham.
Meralco sure didn't play well to start the 2017 Governors' Cup Finals despite waiting for a long time to have another crack at Brgy. Ginebra.
The Bolts fired away Friday to start The Rematch and more often that not, they shot bricks. They ended up paying for it dearly, taking a 15-point loss.
It's as they say, you come at the King, you best not miss.
"We didn't shoot the ball well at all," Meralco import Allen Durham said on the 87-102 loss in series opener.
Durham was the one shining star for the Bolts in Game 1 and he had to bleed for all of his 27 points.
"You can't beat a team like Ginebra and not shoot the ball well. We're just kind of lazy. We didn't play our game well," he added.
If the Bolts play their game well, they have more than enough to beat the barangay.
It's just a matter of playing like a true no. 1 seed. And in an emotional series like this one, Meralco is almost already in a must-win situation in Game 2.
Because going down 0-2 to the Gin Kings is just asking for trouble.
"It's not gonna end well for you," Durham said.
"We just gotta get back to work. We just gotta try to make the necessary corrections and get ready. They beat us by a lot, so we gotta get back to work," he added.
