--- four-time PBA Most Valuable Player June Mar Fajardo.
After dominating the PBA for so long, June Mar Fajardo knows that it's about time to make his presence felt for Gilas Pilipinas.
So you can stop whining about it on social media right about now because the newly-crowned 4-time PBA Most Valuable Player has that on his mind.
"Kailangan kong paghandaan yun," Fajardo said Friday, talking about the upcoming FIBA World Qualifiers next month particularly against Japan on Nov. 24 and Chinese Taipei on Nov. 27.
International glory is really the only thing that's left for Fajardo to accomplish. After all, Friday marked the fourth time he's won the PBA's highest individual honor, joining legends Ramon Fernandez and Alvin Patrimonio as the only players to win MVP four times.
However, June Mar is the only player to win MVP for four straight years. He's been in the league for five seasons.
Despite missing out on the Grand Slam this season, the 27-year-old Fajardo maintains that the Triple Crown is still the top priority for the Beermen.
With four MVP awards already, it's really all about the rings now for the Kraken.
"Kung tutuusin two out of three di na masama. Grand Slam next year kailangan," Fajardo said.
