"I'm ready to play whatever [minutes] to win a championship." --- Justin Brownlee.

Justin Brownlee played 46 minutes in Game 5 for Brgy. Ginebra. Save for timeouts, he saw zero breaks in action in the second half.

With Allen Durham also playing the entire second half on the other end, head coach Tim Cone didn't bother taking out his import for the remainder of the game.

With a 3-2 Finals lead hanging in the balance, no way he was risking a big Meralco run if Brownlee was on the bench.

"He [Cone] came up to me and said 'I don't think you're gonna get a break in this half so just be prepared,'" Brownlee said.

"Play on in the second half. But you know, we did great as a team so I didn't have to exert a lot of energy. As a collective group we did a great job," he added.

Brownlee finished with 20 points, 14 in the second half, on top of 12 rebounds and five assists to lead the Gin Kings.

Now that Ginebra took care of business to take that 3-2 lead, Brownlee is ready to go for 48 minutes for the rest of the series if it means winning another title.

"I'm ready to play whatever [minutes] to win a championship," Brownlee said.

"It doesn't matter at this point," he added.
