Former La Salle star Jeron Teng is expected to be one of the high picks in the upcoming PBA Draft.

However, for Jeron, it doesn't matter what number he ends up with in the selection process.

The important thing is he gets in the PBA, a dream that started the moment he picked up a basketball he says.

"For me, it doesn't matter kung pang-ilan ako ma-pick, Jeron said.

"Ever since I started basketball, it's always been my dream to follow my father's footsteps so I'm just really excited to enter the league," he added.

Jeron's father, Alvin, spent his best years in the PBA with the San Miguel Beermen, serving as one of the team's enforcers to earn the nickname "Robocop."

Jeric, Jeron's older brother, was a member of the Rain or Shine team that won the 2016 Commisisoner's Cup under Yeng Guiao.

After spending time in the PBA D-League, Jeron says he's ready to go in the PBA and he's out to prove that he belongs.

"I think I'm prepared, physically and mentally prepared. I'm working hard preparing for this draft," he said.

"Any team will do basta mabigyan lang ako ng chance to play in the PBA," Jeron added.
