Jordan Clarkson is one honest dude.
Early in the new NBA season, the Fil-Am combo guard is enjoying some success as one of the league's better reserves, averaging 14.8 points per game through November 12.
That's third-best for the Los Angeles Lakers and sixth in all of the NBA among players coming off the bench.
There are two particular reasons why JC has been actively chasing success in his young pro career.
The first is obvious and the second one, once you think about it for more than six seconds, is actually more obvious.
"I mean my pops, my family, that’s always No. 1," Clarkson said, according to Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times.
"But second probably the girls and stuff. Females. Know what I mean? I love women," he added.
"They don't like you when you're down."
Well, can't argue with that logic. You do you, Mr. Clarkson.
