Blatche was originally set to arrive last week but his Chinese club team had him play their final two regular season games in the CBA, delaying his arrival.

According to head coach Chot Reyes, the national team will have two scheduled practices Sunday in order to help Blatche get up to speed.

Gilas Pilipinas is preparing for its first pair of games in the Asian Qualifers, taking on Japan on Nov. 24 before hosting Taipei on Nov. 27. The team will leave for Tokyo on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
