After taking its first road win of the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers, Gilas Pilipinas looks to defend home court as the opening window wraps up Monday.

The Philippines will host the visiting Chinese Taipei at the Araneta Coliseum with the national team going for their second win in a row.

Behind the all-around brilliance of Jayson Castro, Gilas Pilipinas took a 77-71 win over Japan in Tokyo Friday.

And while that victory wasn't pretty, the Philippines can deliver a better performance this time around in front of its home crowd.

Gilas Pilipinas will field the same lineup against Taipei, who are coming off a crushing loss to Australia in their previous outing.

Tip off will be at 7:00 in the evening.
