ROS burns Phoenix in preseason, NLEX stops Alaska

Chris Tiu drilled a clutch three as ROS survived Phoenix to start PBA preseason.
Even in preseason, NLEX is still beating Alaska.
The Road Warriors started their road to the 43rd PBA season with a come-from-behind 106-100 win over the Aces Monday at th Upper Deck Gym in Ortigas.
Down 10 at the half, NLEX came alive in the second half, dropping a 35-point bomb in the third to frustrate the Aces.
Rabeh Al-Hussaini led the way for the Road Warriors with 21 points while Raul Soyud followed with 18.
Asi Taulava also had a productive day with 12 points for NLEX.
"It's not really an accurate measure of the strengths of the teams no, marami namang kulang pa din," head coach Yeng Guiao said on the win.
"But it's really a way to gauge your progress in the off season," he added.
For the Aces, Calvin Abueva fired 25 points.
In the first game, Rain or Shine burned Phoenix in overtime, 95-91.
Chris Tiu, who drilled the booming three to ice the game for the Elasto Painters, led the way with 20 points off the bench. Dexter Maiquez also scored 20 as a reserve while Ed Daquioag finished with 14 points.
Jeff Chan, a former sniper for ROS, was the high man for the Fuel Masters with 16 points.
