Play Louder in 2023 is a success.
On Saturday, FIBA awarded the Philippines the hosting rights for the 2023 World Cup. The country will host together with Japan and Indonesia.
Before and after the announcement, overwhelming support poured on social media for the Philippines, and a certain someone didn't forget to give a meaningful shoutout on Facebook.
Los Angeles Lakers combo guard Jordan Clarkson, a guy many want to see play for Gilas Pilipinas, made sure to congratulate his home country for the victory.
Clarkson will be a grizzled veteran by the time the 2023 World Cup rolls around. Maybe by then, he actually leads Gilas Pilipinas to battle.
We'll see in six years.
