Back to full health, Belo's confidence is starting to rise
On Friday for their final game of 2017, Belo fired 25 points, including a clutch triple inside the last two minutes, to give Blackwater its first franchise win over the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.

After suffering a knee injury that took away his strong start from last season, it appears that Mac Belo is back to doing Mac Belo things.

Than means leading Blackwater's rise to contender status as one of the best, if not the best, player on the Elite squad.

On Friday for their final game of 2017, Belo fired 25 points, including a clutch triple inside the last two minutes, to give Blackwater its first franchise win over the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.

More importantly, Belo looks healthier than ever now compared to his first return to action late last season.

"Of course, another conference so talagang nag-focus ako sa strengthening ko, sa conditioning kaya medyo bumabalik na yung kumpiyansa ko," Belo said.

"And thank you kay coach at sa mga coaching staff na always nagpupush sa akin," he added.

Raymar Jose, a former college teammate and Blackwater's top rookie this year, couldn't help but notice his senior's confidence on the floor now that he's back to full strength.

It only makes the Elite a more dangerous team with this development.

"Sobrang happy ako na yung kumpiyansa niya bumabalik na pati yung laro niya. Sana magtuloy-tuloy," Jose said.
