Chan back to being a dead shot after bout with sore eyes

It seemed like Jeff Chan's formerly sore eyes didn't bother him that much as he made all but three of his 11 attempts from the field.
Jeff Chan didn't exactly have a good end to his basketball stint in 2017.
The veteran sniper missed one game for Phoenix in the ongoing PBA Philippine Cup with an illness, failing to follow up a nice 18-point performance to start his season.
"Nagkasakit ako eh, trangkaso tsaka sore eyes. Nahawa ako sa babies," Chan said after he didn't see action the the Fuel Masters' victory against Kia last Dec. 27.
And while he's still not at 100 percent, Chan came back with a vengeance to start the year right with Phoenix, firing 18 points as the Fuel Masters beat NLEX to score back-to-back wins.
It also seemed like his formerly sore eyes didn't bother him that much as he made all but three of his 11 attempts from the field.
He finished with 18 points on top of six rebounds and three assists.
Hopefully next game okay na yung condition ko," Chan said.
And with Phoenix starting to get some momentum in the All-Filipino, Chan is hoping to score more victories moving forward.
Sila yung mga mahirap kasi eh," he said.
