Erram's confidence sky high after beating Slaughter
The 6'7" Erram came through for the Elite in Blackwater's 94-77 win over the Gin Kings, posting 22 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks.

Faced with Ginebra's vaunted twin towers, JP Erram more than held his own.

In fact, he ended up beating both Greg Slaughter and Japeth Aguilar.

The 6'7" Erram came through for the Elite in Blackwater's 94-77 win over the Gin Kings, posting 22 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks.

In comparison, Slaughter finished with 20 points and 10 boards while Aguilar only had 14 points and eight rebounds. Ginebra's twin towers were a comined minus 28 on the floor.

Erram? Plus 17 in 38 minutes of play.

"Malaking pampataas ng confidence para sa akin kasi syempre nanalo kami," Erram said on his matchup with Slaughter, his former Ateneo teammate.

"Hindi naman sa ano pero ang laking tulong sa akin kasi magkakampi kami dati, tapos ngayon magkalaban na. Yung caliber ni Greg hindi basta basta. Marami akong natutunan sa matchup na yun," he added.

Completely healthy following an ACL injury, Eram vows to make up for lost time with Blackwater.

And that starts by helping the Elite pile up wins in the All-Filipino.

"Masasabi ko naman na 100 percent na ako. Although kahit naman hindi ganin yung game ko, kahit na may game ako na pangit, hindi ko siya nira-rason na galing akong injury," he said.

"I make it a point na I giver everything, every game," Erram added.
