Beermen rally against TNT to keep perfect start
Down right from the start, the reigning three-time All-Filipino champions turned the heat up in the final period, doubling up on their fellow Perpetual champions, 30-15, to secure their third win in as many games.

San Miguel once again gets the better of rival TNT.

The Beermen used a fourth-quarter outburt to defuse the KaTropa, 88-76, Saturday in the 2018 PBA Philippine Cup at Iloilo City's University of San Agustin Gym.

Holding on to a four-point lead, Alex Cabagnot hit a booming three with 2:04 to go to push San Miguel's lead to seven, 81-74.

Arwind Santos then added another three and a slam dunk as the Beermen completed a 24-point turnaround to take over solo first early in the season.

Four-time MVP June Mar Fajardo led the champs in scoring with 20 points while Santos, San Miguel's other MVP, finished with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Marcio Lassiter fired 15 and Cabagnot also had a double-double for the Beermen, going for 11 points on top of 12 boards.

For the KaTropa, Troy Rosario was the high man with 15 points and 13 rebounds but it wasn't enough to sustain his team's hot start in the game.

With the loss, TNT dropped to 1-2 in the standings
