Lee all praise on Kiefer's mature game
With Magnolia and NLEX taking the court, it was Lee that got the better of his fellow no. 2 overall pick after his Hotshots scored a 105-94 victory over the Road Warriors.

For some weird reason, Paul Lee and Kiefer Ravena have never played against each other on the basketball floor.

Well that changed Sunday in the 2018 Philippine Cup.

With Magnolia and NLEX taking the court, it was Lee that got the better of his fellow no. 2 overall pick after his Hotshots scored a 105-94 victory over the Road Warriors.

Lee fired 21 points, 12 in the pivotal third period when Magnolia dropped 34 points but te former Gilas gunner couldn't help but marvel at the NLEX super rookie's game.

"Magaling talaga, magaling si Kiefer. Very promising siya. For sure malayong-malayo yung mararating niya dito sa PBA," Lee said of the Phenom.

Playing his first game against Kiefer, Lee admitted to being excited.

He's also a little relieved to put up his own end of the bargain when it came to actually producng points.

Ravena scored 31 points in the loss, setting up a new PBA career high.

"Oo naman excited ako kasi first time namin magtapat eh, dito lang nangyari yun. Buti nakapag-perform ako sa game ngayon," Lee said.

Ultimately, the two-time PBA champion just marvels as Ravena's feel for the game, saying that he moves like a veteran even though he's only four games into his pro career.

"Sobrang galing nung bata, pag di mo siya kakilala at pag pinanood mo siya ngayon, iisipin mo mataga; na sa liga," Lee said.

"Talagang very talented, gifted. Hinog na hinog na talaga para sa PBA," he added.
