Nash says it's time for teams to respect Blackwater
After the Elite took down Ginebra in convincing fashion last week, Racela even went ahead and said that team's should start treating the Elite "like a San Miguel team" aka team's that are strong, all the time.

It's going to be an interesting reunion Wednesday when TNT's RR Pogoy and head coach Nash Racela take on Blackwater's Mac Belo and Raymar Jose.

It's an interesting reunion because of their previous connection with the FEU Tamaraws in the UAAP.

Actually, it was a championship connection.

So this is going to be fun.

"After their stint with us in FEU, we've seen their development as players. Ibang-iba na sila," Racela said, talking about his former players.

"From good players, they are now very, very good players. It will be a challenge for us playing against those two," he added.

Pogoy echoed his coach's sentiments, saying his excited about the matchup but he's wary at the same time.

After all, Blackwater appears to be the real deal this season.

"Ready kami at may ano din, medyo may konting kaba kasi alam naman natin na malakas na yung Blackwater ngayon eh," Pogoy added.

After the Elite took down Ginebra in convincing fashion last week, Racela even went ahead and said that team's should start treating the Elite "like a San Miguel team" aka team's that are strong, all the time.

So this reunion is going to be fun.

"They could have been 3-0 at this point. Just because of that they really deserve a lot of respect. That's something that we are emphasizing in our team, to give them respect that they deserve. We just hope that again tomorrow, we treat them like a San Miguel team," Racela said.

"Blackwater is really an Elite team. Di ba, Blackwater Elite?" he added.
