Terrence Romeo is halfway there to representing the Philippines in the upcoming FIBA 3x3 World Cup which the country will host on June 8-12.

Per analyst Quinito Henson of the Philippine Star, the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, via its executive director Sonny Barrios, already sent an invite for the Globalport star to return to his 3x3 roots and lead the country's home stand later this year.

Romeo has been on the mend following a knee injury and is now expected to miss the entire Philippine Cup for Globalport as well as the February games for Gilas Pilipinas against Australia and Japan.

However, the Bro should be ready for the rest of the PBA season including the final window of the opening round of the Asian World Cup Qualifiers together with the 3x3 World Cup.

Four years ago, Romeo was part of the Manila West 3x3 team that won a Masters leg right here in the country.
