"Kahit ilan. Kasi ang limit ngayon one cadet and one veteran.
Current PBA OIC Willie Marcial definitely has Gilas on his mind.
During the first PSA Forum of the year Wednesday, Marcial reiterated his support for the national team.
Hopefully, he says, that teams be allowed to lend as many players as they can for the Philippine national team to future tournaments.
Currently, teams are required to send their cadet and at least one veteran to Gilas. However, some teams, like TNT and Rain or Shine, have more than two players on Gilas' active pool.
"Sakin Gilas.
Kasi malaking bagay sa Gilas yun," he added.
Marcial attended Gilas practice last Monday where he also basically said the same things with regards to the PBA's support to the national team.
Marcial's initial run as OIC will last until Jan. 30 and he mentioned that the PBA Board will convene on Jan. 25 to discuss the league's future, particulary with the search for the next Commissioner.
