Coach Caloy of ROS: nakaka-sumpa itong Cuneta (Astrodome)

On Saturday, ROS lost to Kia, a team that dropped 16 straight games prior, at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Rain or Shine has zero luck at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Late last year, the Elasto Painters lost their very first PBA game against Blackwater at Cuneta.
On Saturday, ROS lost to Kia, a team that dropped 16 straight games prior, also at Cuneta.
Safe to say that the Elasto Painters would rather not play a game at the Cuneta Astrodome for the rest of eternity.
"Sabi ko nga dito, nakaka-sumpa itong Cuneta. They [E-Painters] always play bad in Cuneta. Bihirang-bihira na we have a good game here in Cuneta," head coach Caloy Garcia said.
"We play good in Araneta, we play [good] in MOA pero pagdating dito sa Cuneta, hirap na hirap kami. Maybe next time we have to practice here longer," he added.
As for the honor of being the team that lost to the Picanto, Garcia says that it was bound to happen.
And he's looking at the positive things to get from the upset.
"It’s going to happen. Maganda lang doon, by losing this game, it should make us work hard, it should make us more hungrier and be more prepared," Garcia said.
"Kia naman dati, tinalo nila San Miguel, nag-champion San Miguel so you know, malay mo it might be a blessing in disguise. I just hope the players would feel the hurt of this loss kasi if hindi nila maramdaman yung talo na ito, they don’t deserve to play for these team kasi ako talaga, masama loob ko. But coach Ricky [Dandan], at least that’s his first win and you know, ganoon talaga," he added.
